    Localizado no coração do que é conhecido como 'Little Portugal', onde muitas famílias portuguesas se estabeleceram durante os anos 1960 e 1970, o Portugal Restaurant foi o primeiro restaurante de cozinha portuguesa a estabelecer-se em Londres, já lá vão mais de 40 anos.
    O restaurante tem estado sob os cuidados de Luis Silva desde 2011, que o trouxe de volta às suas raízes tradicionais, com pratos caseiros de origem de todo o Portugal, bem como alguns petiscos, tudo com grande empenho em servir com qualidade. Luís Silva orgulha-se da excelência dos alimentos e do serviço amigavel.
    Os produtos são oriundos dos mercados locais de Londres, a carne é comprada de Mercado de Smithfield, e só é usada carne escocesa nos pratos de carne. O peixe também é proveniente do Mercado de Billingsgate e os vegetais são comprados quase à porta, no Convent Market Garden.
    Um facto pouco conhecido é que o duque de Bragança, pretendente ao trono português, visitou o Portugal Restaurant durante a sua visita oficial a Inglaterra.

    Located in the heart of what is known as ‘Little Portugal’, where many Portuguese families first settled during the 1960s & 1970s. Portugal Restaurant is one of the longest serving Portuguese restaurants in England, established well over 40 years ago.
    The restaurant has been under the care of Luis Silva since 2011, who has brought the restaurant back to its traditional roots, with home-cooked classic quality dishes from all over Portugal and some ‘Petiscos’, better known as Tapas. It prides itself on the quality of the food and it’s friendly service.
    Portugal Restaurant sources its ingredients from the local London markets, our meat is purchased from Smithfield’s Market, and we only use Scottish Beef in our beef dishes.
    Our fish is also sourced from Billingsgate Market, and we purchase our vegetables almost on our doorstep, at Convent Garden Market.
    Little known fact: The Duke of Braganza, pretender to the former Portuguese throne visited Portugal Restaurant on his official visit to England.
